A River Runs Through It (ARRTI) Garden Club of Waterbury, Vermont will be hosting its annual self-guided Garden Tour on Sunday, July 21st 2024, 9 AM - 3 PM

ARRTI will be showcasing 5 beautiful private gardens located in and around the towns of Waterbury and Waterbury Center. The gardens chosen for this year's self-guided tour include a variety of ecological settings, all with spectacular views of surrounding mountains and picturesque fields. Included in the tour are unique and creative perennial gardens, herb and vegetable gardens, rock gardens, distinctive tree and shrub collections, and of course, a wide range of colors, textures, and design inspiration! And did we mention the views? There are mouth-dropping views of the Green Mountains at every turn! Come meet and speak with the gardeners, and members of the garden club to learn about their plants, their properties, their techniques, and the things that make each garden special. All proceeds benefit community grants, gardening programs, and gardening-related projects. We greatly appreciate your support of our all-volunteer, not-for-profit club and the work we do to educate gardeners and beautify our community.

Special Instructions:

A detailed tour map, instructions, and garden descriptions will be sent to ticketholders on Saturday, July 20th, the evening before the event.
The tour will be held rain or shine.
Parking is limited in some locations so carpooling is encouraged and highly recommended.
Most of the gardens are located at private residences located along dirt roads.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and expect varying terrain conditions.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while touring the gardens.
Please leave your pets at home and not in the car at tour sites.
Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 56 Main Street, Waterbury VT. A club member will be on site to provide additional information and tour maps.
